If it's just a minor repair, perhaps you would be willing to trust
your instrument to one of the store techs at House of Woodwinds
(Oakland) or Forrest's Music (Berkeley). If I remember correctly,
Woodwinds & Brass on 10th St. off of Market in San Francisco is no
longer around, unfortunately. Used to be a nice little shop but,
sadly, Irwin Berger (the owner, a former bassoonist with a wonder-
ful German accent, "Voodvinds und Brrrrasss" he would say when he
answered the phone) died of cancer some years ago.

Alright, I'm getting sappy and nostalgic. Hope the other infor-
mation helps.
