Hi Bill,

I understand that the violin is a completely different kettle of fish. Just
trying to introduce a note of levity into this serious discussion : ).

Anyone interested in my cast iron violin? You can have it cheap.

ROTFLMAO!! Terrific reply, Stewart. But there is a difference
between violin and clarinet. The body of a violin is designed to be a
sounding board, whereas the body of a clarinet is not. The question
is: does a clarinet body have some sounding board (and/or sound
absorbing) effects anyway?

Cheers,
Bill
