My definition of "readily available" would include the ability to do a
side-by-side comparison in my friendly neghborhood music store, or knowing
somebody who had one or both to help make such a comparison. I've never
seen one, and I don't believe I have ever even SEEN anyone who HAS seen
one. Therefore, they are NOT "readily available" by my definition. And
since I know no one who has seen, much less played, them side-by-side, I
have no one to ask how they compared, nor have I read any comparisons
anywhere -- a lack of anecdotal information. That is not to mention the
dearth of scientific or statistical information. In other words, I know
they exist, but I have no other information, so a judgement on how
successful they are is absolutely impossible for me to make or even
contemplate. Consider my lament a challenge and invitation to any Listers
out there who may HAVE experience with these instruments to share their data!

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is too loud.
