Walter,

I have two cocobolo mouthpieces which were made by Greg Smith that I use all
the time. I've had them for a little more than a year now and like them
even better than my Hites. I use the wooden mouthpieces on my Patricola
clarinets and the Hites on my R-13's. The thing I like most about the
wooden ones is the great big sound with a nice soft quality to it. They do
require extra care though. If you aren't willing to spend some time to keep
them very clean then they aren't the mouthpieces of choice.
