Actually, Howarth does. I forget what they call the material on their web
site, but it's plastic. I bought a Howarth Bb about 4 years ago & liked it so
much that I vacationed in London. I spend days there playing all the A
clarinets in stock & selected one to complete the pair. They did not have any
of the plastic ones in stock, so I can't comment on them. However, a friend
played on at their shop & was impressed with it as I recall.

BTW, my Howarths are wonderful instruments. I just got a pair of Rossi
clarinets, but I can't bring myself to sell the Howarths because they play so
well.
