Mark and Roger
Great story. Just goes to show what we all (need to) keep reminding each other
of when we get too deeply into equipment as being the magic bullet to ultimate
gorgeous tone quality: a great player sounds like himself or herself on
WHATEVER equipment they use. Obviously there are differences and good reasons
for buying high quality stuff, but Ricardo sounds like Ricardo no matter who's
horn he's on, my teacher still sounds like himself when he plays my set up,
etc. There are other factors at work, obviously. Thanks for the story.
