"I play on a Sapphire and I like it. Pomarico market a metal lig for these
mouthpieces, but I haven't tried it. It's a narrow band of metal with a
single screw. (The band is probably between 5-10mm wide). I use a standard
Rovner on it and it does just fine. I don't use a patch, cos I don't like
them (on any mouthpiece). I tried one once and it stuck OK, but I couldn't
get used to it. I also found Pomarico to be a good company to contact. I
emailed them a question and got an email answer back fairly quickly."

Thanks. for the feedback. Was planning on trying iwth a Rovner ED2.

" I hope you like your new mouthpiece when you get it. (please tell me that
you're going to try it out> in a store somewhere and not just order it
direct?)"
----------------------
I took the liberty of ordering more than one. My local store doesn't carry
it, or any crystals for that matter. However, I could order from IMS, Muncy
or Weiner (and no doubt many others) & can try out several & return for full
refund. As long as returns are in a-1 condition (w/a tape or a patch being
used to avoid teeth scratching ... its a good idea to use tape etc to avoid
scratching with a ligature,too) there is no problem. I ordered 2 Pomarico's
and a Vandoren A2.

Thanks for your feedback.
