I have a student who plays on a Buescher, and she can get a pretty decent
sound on it. But, obviously, if she decides to go in to music in college,
she'll have to get a Buffet or something comparable. My grandma also just
bought my aunt a Buescher and I'm excited for her, since now we can play
duets together!

Ah, we've heard the praises sung of the new Buffets...

The splendor of the new Selmers...

And the legendary series 9 Basses they made years ago...

But...what about them other companies? I'm familiar with Conn, SML, and
Amati, but I wasn't even aware that Buescher made clarinets of any sort
until I saw one on Ebay, along with a Pedler and a Kohlert...who are these
guys? What kind of horns do/did they make?

(I mean, I know who Buescher is...er, was...but as far as their clarinets,
I know squat...)
