Well, in that case I don't understand what you meant by:

I tried very hard to explain, and took some time doing it, too.
If you wrote your questions more explicitly, using more than one
sentence even, I might understand better what you want. What *would*
have been 'helpful'?
Do you mean perhaps that you have a difficulty seeing how Fourier's
theorem relates to reality, and want to know whether the overtones are
'real', in some sense?
If not that, what?
