Thanks for the URL.

It wasn't 'an' organ. Every now and then, listening to organ music, I
try the 'experiment' on myself.

But of course, I know what to expect...

As I said in another post, I'm not claiming any scientific basis for
this.

By the way, it's absolutely unequivocal that wind groups and string
quartets *don't* play in equal temperament. So for us, the things that
Gann writes on his page sound a bit silly. He talks as though we only
listen to keyboard music, and as though the experience of listening to
music not in equal temperament is a very rare one.

Not so.
