And just to correct a VERY common misconception, not all Buffets are
R-13's. The R-13 model with its polycylindrical bore dates only to the
1950's. Buffet made many fine clarinets prior to that time, but they were
NOT R-13's, by definition. Actually, I suspect that my Carl Fischer might
in fact be a stencil Buffet from the 20's or so, since they were at one
time Buffet importers.
