For those of you in the Richmond VA area, I'm playing a recital on
Wednesday September 6 at University of Richmond. The program is:

Allan Blank - Three for Two (1999) (world premiere performance)
Allan Blank - Links (1987) written for the 1988 ClarinetFest here in
Richmond)
INTERMISSION
Copland - As It Fell Upon a Day (1923) for flute, clarinet, soprano
Copland - Sonata (1986) transcribed by the composer from his violin
sonata (1943)

This is the 100th anniversary of Copland's birth. Allan Blank, who has
written a large amount of wonderful music for clarinets (see my web page)
will be 75.

If you can come, I'd love to see you. Now back to practicing, so I can
learn the notes!!
