By the way, our local music stores have rental-purchase plans which we
encourage our parents to take advantage of because they do not know if the
child will continue in the band. In Texas it is classifications 3A and 5A
that advance to the state level in marching this year. 1A, 2A, and 4A will
advance in concert this year in the Texas Music Educators Association Honor
Band process. Next year, the classifications will advance in the opposite
category.
