The chips! With extra salt and vinegar, naturally; a seasoning most
Americans find distasteful, it seems. The only large chain Stateside that
provides vinegar for their 'chips' (we call them fries, teehee) is a
seafood chain.

It's even harder to find salt and vinegar potato chips...or as I recall,
'crisps' here, a rather daunting task for the poor boy who became addicted
to them at such a young, tender age. When they ARE found, they are
considerably expensive (at least for the ones that taste like the kind you
buy in England...)
