If a person wants to write a single long note, perhaps tied over
several bars. but the dynamic for this long note is a series of
repetitive crescendos and diminuendos without articulatioon or change of
pitch of any sort, is the proper notation simply a series of alternating
wedges? Or is there some other notation?
