Actually, in my experience, sax players are SLIGHTLY less fixated than
clarinetists. There are toys around for them (us), too, like different
neckstraps, key risers, etc. But when you play multiple sizes of saxes as
well as clarinets, and different mouthpieces for classical vs. jazz, that
can add up to a LOT of mouthpiece/reed/ligature combinations to work out!
