Oh yes, let us not assume that sax players are any less a bunch
of gadget freaks than any other family of instruments, although
there seems to be less that they can tinker with than clarinet
players can. You don't hear about a lot of sax players turning
their thumbrests upside down, but they're equally as fixated as
we are on mouthpiece/reed/ligature minutiae.
