Recently, I noticed that my clarinet was sounding fuzzy, like I hadn't
cleaned it out well enough. So after I was finished cleaning it, I
noticed it still sounded like it was not cleaned.

Aside from the obvious issues of trying a new reed and paying
attention to your embouchure and adequate breath support -- breath
support is easy to forget, at the master classes, I hear *many* more
reminders about breath support than about fingering or articulation or
embouchure -- and the obvious suggestion to check your instrument for
leaks and deposits that aren't easy to see

....anyway, if this was a one-time event, there could've been water in
one or more holes that an ordinary swabbing didn't clear out. I've
never had to blow my own holes out, and this may be a sign of something
that I should be doing but am not, but experienced performers do it all
the time.

(my $.02 worth is that breath support is the most likely culprit, but
I'm still a beginner)
