Leblanc makes a floor peg assembly that solders to the back side of the bell on
the bell's receiving socket. The rather large wing nut that tightens the peg
does a very good job of holding the peg so it won't slip while you're playing
it. (I hate it when that happens on my Selmer).

After you've gotten the peg installed, you might try using both the peg and a
neck strap. Using both gives great stability.
