It's interesting that if you hold an egg in the palm of your hand and
squeeze it as hard as you can, it won't break! I think it's because you're
putting equal pressure on all sides and it holds its rigidity. Try it! But
don't blame me if you have a mess on your hands!

I tell my students to feel it as if they were holding an egg. If you hold
an egg too stiffly, you will break it. If you don't have it in the curve of
your hand you will drop it. It is a particular shape of the hand that holds
an egg.
