What about using the Mini Disc for doing the live recording, and then usi=
ng a
CD burner for copies? That would be the most efficient means of keeping t=
he
digital recording in a format compatible for submissions. I use my mini d=
isc
recorder for recordings of this nature, and am thrilled with the quality.=
The
CD blanks, if purchased in bulk (say 25 or more) can be as little as $1, =
and
the price of the mini disc recorder and CD burner would be around $600 fo=
r
both, maybe less if you get a mini disc recording unit *with* a CD burner=
in
it. The benefit of the separate units, is that you can carry a portable m=
ini
disc player with you and have less to carry when making the master, say a=
t a
recital. The benefit of a unit with both would be more convenient dubbing=
=2E
