Subject: [kl] Left hand thumb

Hello, I am a new member and I belive someone can help me.
It is hard for my left thumb goes from thumb hole to the register key
(Bflat) and goes from the register key to both. The thumb first joint is
almost straight so its moving bring me a lot of tenson and my left hand
became so stiff. Sometimes when the thumb goes from the register key to the
both (register and the tone hole), the print part of the thumb can't cover
all the tone hole.
How can I resolve this trouble?
Thank you
Mariano.

It is possible that your left hand position is incorrect. This can cause
tension in the hand and thumb. This makes it very difficult to bend the
thumb. Try to get an experienced teacher or player to show you the correct
hand position.
