I recently purchased an E13. It came with an adjustable thumbrest.

I purchased the clarinet mail order. I thought I was getting an R-13. Guess
I jumped the gun too fast. It seemed like an incredible deal.

At first, I did not like the clarinet at all but the place where I purchased
it would not take it back because I waited too long. I had to do the 5 min
per day break in period, Geeze!!

After the usual slow break in period and once in a while trying it on jobs,
I ended up going back to my old clarinet. One last time I tried it and lo
and behold, I like it! Now I won't go back to my old one. Go figure... but
I am still kicking myself about not getting an R13.

(PS: This seemed like an incredible deal because the place where I bought it
from let me finance it for 11 months, interest free, I thought that this was
the only way I was going to get and R13. For now, I can be happy with my
E13. I just hope I will be able to sell it when I do purchase an R13.)

Buyer Beware!

Sincerely,
Georgette Calzati
