I have this same problem and I use a neck strap. A sax
neck strap which helps a little bit. The clarinet
elastic neck strap did not work well for me at all.
Now I am to the point where I have developed lumps in
my muscles and I have to do muscle therapy to work the
lumps out. So I am wondering to if the adjustable
thumb rest would work for my Bb.
