Vandoren has a clarinet mouthpiece, model 88.
This a mouthpiece that has a smaller slope where the teeth lie.
The inside is that same as in the regular Vandoern mouthpiece.
Maybe the student should try this type of mouthpiece, to possibly
alleviate the pressure on the top teeth.
