Unlikely as it seems, one long-shot idea to pursue might be a severe sinus
inflammation. These can sometimes masquerade as dental pain, especially pain
that seems induced by pressure on the teeth. Whether or not the problem is
specifically related to sinus problems, an ear-nose-throat specialist might
be worth consulting, in the event there's anything out of the ordinary above
the range of a normal dental x-ray.
