That's interesting. If you would view the spectra of the clarinet that has
been provided at http://hughes38.som.ohio-state.edu you will not notice any
deviation from whole number multiples. Also, discussions on this very topic
that I had with a prof. of acoustics at Ohio State (this year) came to the
conclusion that there can be only whole number multiples of the harmonics.
Unfortunately I did not save the email.

Of course, what we're talking about here has nothing to do with the clarinet
being in tune or in tune with itself, only the overtone series.
