I liked that piece as well and talk to Ms. Belter after she played and she said it was Alt.music.vallistiz.com by Resanovic. She said it is not published, but she would be willing to get information about getting the music and tape. It was a very clever and funny piece, I thought.

Does anyone know the name of the piece that was played at ClarinetFest which
was for clarinet and tape. I also don't remember the player, but she played
wonderfully. She changed her program. The piece was something (I don't
remember) dot com. It was about an Armenian (I think) who was using a
computer to download information about his sheep or something like that. It
was a great piece. I wish I knew the name of it and whether or not it is
published. Anybody know?

James,

The performer was Babette Belter, clarinet prof. at Oklahoma State University in
Stillwater. I could not make out the title of the piece when she announced it,
nor do I know if it is published. But, give her a call; I'm sure she won't mind
giving you the info. You should have no trouble tracking down her phone or
e-mail at that university.
