This paragraph says a lot and really makes me wish I'd seen the performance.
It suddenly dawns on me, though: Carbonare is 33. I wonder what Ricardo will
sound like when *he* reaches that ripe old age. He's only 28 -- it's five
years away! Dang. >>

It's true, Morales and Carbonare are in a class by themselves (among players
I have actually heard). Well, I have just over a year until I am 33. . .but I
don't think there are enough hours before then to catch up, even if I used
every last one of them to practice!

As I said to my friends after the Carbornare recital: "Something tells me his
hands and my hands came from a different manufacturer."
