Generally true, unfortunately.

Zappa's music is mostly published by his own company, Barfko-Swill (he
was relentlessly colorful, wasn't he?), which can be found at the rather
obvious URL:

We had to track them down last year in response to a special order from
one of our clients for some of the Zappa chamber orchestra scores.
