I like yourself am a high school player, and i recently shopped around for
barrels also. I played on both the chadash and moennig barrels and my
personal preference was for the moennig i liked the tone that it produced
better than that of the chadash. However, dont go alone by what anyone tells
you, go out and try both our for yourself and see what you like better,
everyone's taste is different. I will offer this much though, a diffferent
barrel definetely does effect your playing, and I definetely don't regret
investing in a new one, as i am very pleased with the results
