Klarinet Archive - Posting 000562.txt from 2000/07
From: "Sam Jones" <yighway@-----.com> Subj: [kl] Editions of Rossini's "Introduction, Theme ,and Variations" Date: Mon, 17 Jul 2000 20:38:45 -0400
I hope we can continue the wonderful discussions of last week about the
Weber and Mozart editions. I would like to ask everyone what is their
favorite edition of Rossini's "Introduction, Theme and Variations" and why.
I am aware of editions published by Southern, Oxford University Press, and
Sikorki. There is a thread in the archives about some of the differences
between the Oxford and Southern editions. Perhaps we could discuss this
topic more fully.
Thanks,
Sam Jones
