Subj: [kl] What Kind of Metronome Do You Recommend?
Date: Sun, 16 Jul 2000 11:55:50 -0400

Dear listers,

I am looking for a metronome that incorporates beat subdivisions (at least
8ths, 16ths, and triplets), like the Boss Dr. Beat DB66 metronome, but
preferably more portable & possibly one that generates a tuning note.

It seems that the LCD readout is ubiquitous, but I do find it annoying to
have to find the proper speed, 1 digit at a time (Ala the Seiko
DM-10). Are there LCD's that have a better system of finding the correct
speed quickly?

Korg MA-20 Digital Metronome seems like a good choice, but from what I have
read, it seems that it does not generate an audible sound (you need to use
headphones). If I am mistaken about this fact, please let me know!

Any information pro/con on these metronomes (or any that YOU like), would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance....
