In case any of you are interested:

I have just put up on eBay something of a rare find, which has generated
quite a bit of interest already in the first three hours since it was
posted.

It is a classic Buffet Crampon professional clarinet, model 2-BN, which
was personally selected at the Buffet factory in Paris in 1956, and has
the additional low eb key, permitting a player to avoid a quick change
of instruments by simply playing on the Bb clarinet and transposing,
even if the A clarinet part descends to written e.

The instrument was played briefly on a semi-professional level, and then
played only on rare occasions ever since - and practically not at all
since being overhauled by Jack Ost. The instrument is free of cracks,
and in fine condition.

The auction details are at:

and anyone with additional questions is encouraged to contact me
privately.

Thank you for your interest.

David Thompson
