Thank you for the kind comment about PIC.

I'd just like to say that you do actually have some habits that you
learnt ages ago that are helpful: namely the habits of speech, and,
particularly, the habits of speech in simple song, as opposed to the
artificial 'production' characteristic of trained voices.

In teaching the Mozart, I've found it helpful to say that it works
best when the sound is quite 'concentrated' throughout, and that it's
*more* concentrated at the beginnings of phrases.

This avoids an initial approach that is too 'wafty', and which destroys
the long line that is also an important part of this music.

The 'All that stuff about the diaphragm' article is helpful too, because
that helps you throw away a lot of the 'doing' that is in the way of
making this approach work.
