The Yamaha Band Method has a companion book called something like Fun Pop
Style Songs. I don't think that is the name of it, but it is something like
that. It is very easy (on the beginner level) and comes with an
accompaniment cassette tape so the student can play along. You can probably
get it from your local music dealer.
