in various languages: what do you call it?
The following appeared in Newsletter 52
of the Dvorak Society.

Czech = zavinac = rollmop
Polish = malpka = monkey (crossed l = w)
German = affenschwanz = monkey's tail
Hungarian = kukac = maggot or worm
