There are some neat "older" things out there in print if she reads music.
In addition to their method book, Rubank puts out a supplemental book that
is all songs, in various keys and time signatures, with different rhythms
that are not too difficult for some first year students. They also have a
book of piano accompanied pieces that are not too difficult. I also have
been using Mel Bay's Classical Repertoire for Clarinet, put together by
Costel Puscoiu. It is useful to familiarize young students with melodies
from larger works, though it is important to let the children know that
these melodies come from larger works of music and at least suggest
listening assignments for them.
