I called the La Quinta and they said they are not in walking distance to the
university (I am flying in), but they said the Sooner Hotel is on campus.
They have hotel rooms and they have rooms in the dorm that are made into
suites. Two dorm rooms that share a bath were made into a suite with one
room being a living room with a couch that makes into a bed, tv (I think) and
the other is a bedroom. They clean the room, change the bedding and towels
daily just like the other part of the hotel. The price is $44.00 for the
suite. I got one. He said there are others available. That sounds like a
really good deal, especially if two people were sharing the suite. I don't
know how nice a "dorm suite" is, but it probably is not too bad.
