How many of you remember the experience of copying scores and parts onto
onionskin staff paper in india ink; delivering them to the printer;
patiently explaining the page layout you want; waiting a week for the
result; then realizing that the missing measure was your own fault and
everything from page 4 to page 20 is off - and you can redo the whole damn
thing or paste a patch on the page!!!! Garbage in - garbage out is not
limited to the world of computers.
