do tell - I will feel better! >>

One of my greater joys in life (along with playing the clarinet of course) is
working in my yard. It's cheaper than going to a health club and cheaper
than seeing a therapist. Working out in a club was too structured for me - I
felt like I was practicing all over again. It also sucked up too large of
chunks of my time, whereas the yard could be fit in as practice breaks (or
practicing fit in as yard breaks, depending how you look at it). AND... I
had tangible, visible results of my labor. I enjoy instant visual
gratification, and this gives it to me, as opposed to music, where the
results are not tangible. (Figuratively, yes, literally, no.)

However... :D I learned very early in the process, that I can't do certain
things the day I have to perform, or before I get some serious practicing
in... This would include most anything involving a shovel, squeezable hand
tools, or paintbrush bigger than two inches.

So, some days the yard has to wait, but I'll never admit that there are some
days the clarinet has to wait. :)
