Pre-rehearsal mishap; in a rush to get there on time, on a cold February day, I
lost my footing on a flight of stairs, and slid most of the way down. My
clarinet was fine; my right index finger was not - had it "buddy taped" to the
adjacent finger for a couple of weeks. (I could untape it to play). However,
the injury has produced a very nice arch to the finger, that seems to suit
clarinet playing quite well - I'm considering working on the rest this winter.
