Kevin,
Just be glad it wasn't your _left_ thumb. My personal stupidest moment
was while sewing my own Madrigal Banquet costume.... over 15 years since I
started using a sewing machine and yes indeed I was in a hurry, tried to
get a really gathered section to run through _straight_.... straight
through my left thumb that is. If that doesn't make you feel better I
don't know what will!
