Tony goes on to explain that he told her he would post the article on the
klarinet list, and that her permission was implicit in the conversation.

Tony, I should have just come right out and asked, but because I didn't
think you would forward an article without the author's permission, I meant
to give you the opportunity to clear things up. Therefore the fishing
expedition. Unfortunately, I managed to dump mud in the water and confuse
the issue instead of clarifying it. I do have some thoughts about the
substance of Annette Moreau's article and am glad she wants people to read it
and react to it. More later. Meanwhile, I apologize for the confusion and
for my mistaken assumptions and erroneous conclusions.
