The Mendelssohn has a beautiful slow (2nd) movement. Otherwise it seems
to me to ramble on for a long time without any apparent musical goal.

I love the Finzi, with piano, other comments of the list
notwithstanding... ;-)
(though I'm sure Sean Osborn's arrangement is very fine)
