The amount of mouthpiece in the mouth is ALWAYS proportional to the size
of the mouthpiece. (I think something like that should be common sense,
but I've been proven wrong, unfortunately, by many people who are amazed
that you have to take in 'so much' mouthpiece when playing bass. *shrug*)

However, no matter what clarinet or saxophone you play, the chin should
certainly not be bunched - the proper clarinet embouchure (in general,
there are of course, variations) generally involves a pulled down, firmed
chin - and this goes for all clarinets and saxophones, unless you're one
of those anomolies.
