Klarinet Archive - Posting 001356.txt from 2000/06
From: Daniel Leeson <leeson0@-----.net> Subj: [kl] Bass clarinet in A Date: Thu, 29 Jun 2000 21:19:03 -0400
I want to make sure that I have not opened my mouth and inserted my
foot.
Alf's question was about a soprano clarinet in A that was full Boehm
and, that is what I was speaking about, not a bass clarinet in A.
However, I did own a bass in A also but sold it when I retired. Loved
it. Whenever I played La Valse, the transposition was a pain in the neck
so I bought an A bass. But that had nothing to do with my response to
Alf.
