I was told once that oud players usually tune lower when playing with
clarinet, and I _think_ it was a whole tone lower. That would make it a lot
easier, wouldn't it? I've never heard of Arabic music played on clarinet, but
of course there's lots of very similar Turkish music played on clarinet.
