I have the same recording, and I tend to like it. I like his articulation (a
sort of funky "chugging" sound), but I'm not sure if I would want that sound
or not!

I have a recording of the Mozart by Jost Michaels and the Westphalia
Symphony
Orchestra. It is an old one on the Vox label that I found back in the late
60's or early 70's. I have not listened to it in years. I think I remember
hearing that he was quite a good player, but I don't remember. He also
plays
the Mozart Quintet on the same album. Is anyone familiar with Jost
Michaels?
