Hi Mael,
Welcome to Klarinet.
Go for the best clarinet that you can afford - new preferably. That way you
have the best chance of starting correctly. We all hope you will learn with
a (good) tutor, as on your own you may pick up lots of bad habits which may
not be quite so easy to eradicate later on. Your routine at home will change
in order to fit in your daily practice. Don`t go mad with it. Not less than
25 minutes, and not less that 5 days a week is a good start. 3 hours on a
Monday and 2 hours on Friday will NOT make you into a clarinettist, as you
probably realise.
Best wishes from all.
T.W.

I'm new on this mailing list. I am going to purchase a clarinet, but
being a beginner, i ask myself a lot of questions.
Does anybody know about the Evette Master Model ? Here is a description
of the instrument : it has the Buffet Crampon logo with Evette in the
centre of the oval and Master Model under it, made out of wood (ebony).
Series number D47089. Is it any good ?
Is it easy to repair a spring when one is broken ?
